Penis Enlargement Surgery Cost and Side Effects

If you want to get a bigger penis, you may be willing to invest in surgery to increase the length and girth of your penis. I look at penis enlargement surgery cost and side effects to see if it is really worth taking the risk with such an important part of your anatomy.

This type of surgery involves cutting the connection between the base of your penis and your groin. This gives the appearance of it looking bigger by a marginal amount. For girth increase, surgery involves sucking out fat from other parts of your body and then injecting into the sides of your penis.

They both don’t sound very pleasant to me and are quite invasive. Let’s look into penis enlargement surgery in more detail.

Penis Enlargement Surgery Cost

penis enlargement surgery costThe average cost of penile enhancement surgery is $5,000 which differs between countries of course.

Because the NHS or healthcare provider in your country only intervenes when a condition is life threatening, you probably won’t get the cost paid for you, for example through insurance. That means you’ll have to save up the cost yourself.

Maybe you think the monetary cost is worth it to get a bigger penis, because you are really unhappy with it’s size. What I’m about to share with you might put you off surgery for good.

Side Effects of Penile Enhancement Surgery

When the connection between your groin and penile base is cut, it causes your erect penis to hang lower, and sometimes even point downwards which can look very strange.

There are also risks associated with this type of surgery that include:

  • Deformity of the penis.
  • Severe pain while healing.
  • Serious infection that can lead to amputation or in exceptional cases, death.
  • Allergic reaction to anesthetic which can cause breathing difficulties and heart failure.

I don’t know about you but the prospect of having my penis amputated is enough to put me off. But of course, these are rare side effects and you have to weight up the pros and cons yourself to make a decision.

Is Surgery Worth It?

The National Health Service of the UK had this to say about the safety and effectiveness of this surgical procedure:

“There is little or no evidence to prove the safety or success of operations to increase penis size. ” – NHS

Also:

“A study in 2006 found that this procedure led to an average increase of 1.3cm in penis length. However, only 35% of men who had the operation were happy with the results.” – NHS

When compared with pills, pumps and products that claim to give you increases of girth and length of 2-3 inches, 1.3cm doesn’t seem like a lot of gains for so much pain.

Best Alternative to Surgery

There are alternatives to penis enlargement surgery including devices that run into the many hundreds of dollars, and very cheap products like penis patches that claim to give amazing results.

There are a lot of penis enlargement scams out there and it did take a while for me to filter the very best products out. I came to the conclusion that for results, safety and cost, Male Extra (the very best penis enlargement pill on the market) is the best product to achieve non-surgical penis enlargement.
